I am a Hugo award-winning fantasy/SF artist who works on both publishing projects and film concept work(such as Jimmy Neutron and most recently, The Ant Bully) but I have a passion for landscape work, small paintings and exploring the properties of paint. This blog will mostly showcase my "painting-for-the-day" as kind of a personal voyage. I'll also be inserting sketches,photos and ideas of projects I am working on, that I can, when I can, so look for those every so often(usually as paint is drying!)

Yeah...that busy...

I've been quiet because I've been a little overwhelmed. However I did do a new painting of the day, that already has been sold to someone in France, but I'll display it tommorrow for all to see.
Amazingly it's May already...which always reminds me of a few lines from one of my favorite films-AIRPLANE!

Striker: Mayday! Mayday!

Capt Steve McCroskey: Mayday? What the Hell is THAT for?

Johnny: Mayday! Why that's the Russian New Year, we can have a big parade and serve hot h'ors d'ouvers!!!

Okay maybe my spelling is off but I'm so tired I can hardly read the screen here!
