More Ocean...More Mysteries...

The Sea That Tells The Tale (9x18 inches oils).

I did this as one of two paintings for a Newport RI gallery show. Small works, and I always love painting the ocean and shores, in sort of a romantic way. That is, I tend to make up alot of it based on years of having seen oceans. Anyway, this is a piece done in a day, that has a cautionary tale to tell. If it does not sell in the gallery, it shall be posted back here again!

I did this marine painting for an upcoming gallery show in Newport RI. If it doesn't sell I'll repost it here. I reallllly like painting water, and rough ocean. Notice the ancient vessel off to the right...

Dragonlands(10x10) Oil on linen canvas. SOLD!

I had done the background and volcano image earlier this year. The painting waited for something else to be in it, and then, the idea of the dragon hit me so a few weeks ago, I put him in and , voila, the painting was now complete! I plan on making a large size version as well, like 3 x3 ft!
