Al Feldstein x Me
Feldstein's Rocket(8x10, oils) Done as Commission
A collector asked me to do a painting that would be based, more or less on a sketch by legendary EC Comics artist Al Feldstein. Feldstein did a line art sketch and I was asked to take that, and do my take on it. Usually I resist such commissions, but given this was Al Feldstein I saw it as a way of "working with"a legend, like a collaboration. Anyway, this is the result.
