I am a Hugo award-winning fantasy/SF artist who works on both publishing projects and film concept work(such as Jimmy Neutron and most recently, The Ant Bully) but I have a passion for landscape work, small paintings and exploring the properties of paint. This blog will mostly showcase my "painting-for-the-day" as kind of a personal voyage. I'll also be inserting sketches,photos and ideas of projects I am working on, that I can, when I can, so look for those every so often(usually as paint is drying!)

New planetary paintings...

The Ice Moon Europa(9x12 inches, oils, SOLD)

Martian Dust #3(9x12 inches, Oils SOLD!)

STILL PAINTING...here are three done in recent days. The top one was sorta sold before it got to the blog, but that's how it goes with these things. They don't last long! The small works are a joy to do, and priced right for everyone(these are a little larger hence the price a tad higher) so I will continue to do them. Sort of my "romantics" view of space. I'll be out to Australia for a bit, soon, but if interested, write me!!

I've been at blogging three years now! Wow! Where did time go to?

I just discovered you and your paintings via Google image search and I must say I am already a fan. I love the palette of the latter two and the textures are awesome.
