New stuff, in the works...

Some new stuff. The Torosaur is re-worked and I have taken to airbrushing in ink to bolster shadows done in pencil and such, it's a fun technique and give the drawings a more "finished" feel if you will. The color sketch is for a large commission in progress. Rarely do I do sketches this elaborate...but for this I felt to get the colors down pat, I should.

Glad I checked your blog today - awesome art, especially the torosaur! I'm a sucker for pencil/ink dinosaurs. I suspect it's due to the dinosaur books I read as a kid, which were all in black and white. But it might just be a general inclination towards B&W - I love Charles Vess' ink drawings even more than his colored work, for example.

Beautiful tyrannosaurus! If this were a print I'd buy it. You should work on the new Godzilla film, it would be the better for it.
Oddly I am one degree of separation from the new Godzilla film's producer. But I don't think they'd want me...
